Hydrotherepy

We like and need this book which was recommended by a physiotherapist following a knee replacement. However we feel extremely disappointed in the price of postage. We were under the assumption that this purchase originated in the US and while we thought the $23 AUS postage was expensive we decided to go ahead. To our shock and surprise the book was actually sent from Melbourne Australia and is a used university text book, consequently we felt absolutely ripped off by the price and postage, considering the book was $40 and $23 for postage within Australia a total of $73 seems excessive.
Buyers beware and ensure the purchase and postage total is value for money. As self funded retirees we have limited funds to waste on unreasonable costs. I feel that Amazon should declare the place of origin for their products and alleviate confusion and misleading statements for their clients.

An excellent therapy resource

This book gives a thorough comprehensive overview of aquatic therapy (hydrotherapy) that is easy to follow and understand. An excellent resource for contraindications, suggested activities with therapeutic goals to be achieved, as well as how to use aquatic therapy with several populations. An excellent resource for both inpatient and outpatient therapists, physical therapy as well as other therapists.
